SLIDE 05 CROSSING
Bridges conjure an almost infinite array of allegories, and in Crossing, Kyle takes an iconic collection of fundamentals and leads the observer into an over designed bridge and into the eventuality of environmental collapse. The bridge form consists of humorously over engineered suspension, wood truss and stone-and-mortar construction methods, and traverses a figure of hay and lime.
